Q: Does Art Life Design actually create the art?

A: No. Art Life Design works with artists to supply original art and with Fine Art publishers to source Fine Art Reproductions.

Q: How much does the artwork cost?

A: On average, we use a calculation of $400.00 for good quality framed fine art reproductions. This can vary depending on size and framing but the $400.00 model is a good average to base projections on. Understandably, original artwork is more difficult to estimate because there are so many different variables involved but generally originals would range between $500.00 and $3000.00.

Q: Are we paying more for artwork because Art Life Design is a specialized service provider?

A: No. While you may pay extra fees for the project and design expertise that we provide, you will not pay more for artwork.

In addition, Art Life Design is committed to the concept of Fair Market Value pricing in all our client relationships. We guarantee to supply our clients with quality products and services at a fair market price. So in keeping with the Fair Market Value pricing concept, Art Life Design does not quote more for its products or services in order to simply grant discounts at a later time.

Q: Do you charge consulting fees?

A: Yes. On top of artwork, printing or signage costs, Art Life Design charges for certain services such as design consultation, project management, graphic design and installation. Other than that, you pay only the fair market price for the artwork and framing, whether you order 1 piece of art or 100.

We specialize in direct-to-client art consulting. It’s what we do. There is no charge for initial consultations, preliminary Art Plan creation and client after-purchase services. These are value added services that cost nothing extra.

Q: How long does it take to complete a project?

A: Depending on the complexity and extent of the project, between 3 to 6 weeks from initial consultation to completion and installation.

Q: What if we want original art from an artist or galley Art Life Design doesn’t represent?

A: While we represent some great Canadian Artists, you might want something that we don’t feature exclusively. We have many contacts in the industry and can locate many works of art that may not be readily available. We can broker the work on your behalf, initiate the request along with you or simply point you in the right direction yourself. This service means you never pay more than the market value for any piece of art, be it an original or a fine art reproduction.

Q: What if I don’t like the art or the framing?
