Art Life Design represents 15 regional and national artists based in the Ottawa region. Through representation and promotion of their work, Art Life Design hopes to support original artists whenever a corporate project dictates the need.

Although our roster of artists continues to expand, Art Life Design does not limit their client’s options to these artists only. Art Life Design’s designers can also search out original art from many different sources: directly from other galleries, through industry research and through other contact resources. In this way, Art Life Design’s designers can truly act as an unbiased professional consultant, either by suggesting the right artwork, helping clients locate art themselves or by brokering and acquiring the work on a client’s behalf.

Unlike a gallery, however, we don’t stock art inventory that we need to sell. We can source the right works from many different independent sources without extra costs to our clients. This provides true freedom to choose what looks best on any given project.

VISUAL ARTIST

Barbara Gamble’s interpretive landscape paintings range from the vistas of fields, forests, and waters, to the diminutive leaves of a plant. She paints what she knows. From urban to wilderness settings, the Canadian landscape has been a constant subject of her work. Her painting is geographically based, concerned with the themes of place and memory, evocations of beauty, endurance, fragility and loss.

An award-winning graduate of the University of Ottawa , Barbara has exhibited in Ottawa , Vancouver , Toronto and New York . She is active in the arts community, including service on the Board of the Ottawa Art Gallery . Her work is included in the collections of The City of Ottawa, Air Canada , Business Development Bank, Nortel, Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel, Council for the Arts Ottawa, The Corel Centre, Dow’s Lake Court Inc. and the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
